Prerequisites (DPD training pathway)

To access the evaluation phase, it is necessary to comply with some of the prerequisites indicated in the AEPD-DPD Scheme. We find the following:

 
 
  • 1Itinerary 1

    Justify a professional experience of at least five years, in projects and/or activities and tasks related to the functions of the DPD in data protection matters.
  • 2Itinerary 2

    Justify a professional experience of at least three years in projects and/or activities and tasks related to the functions of the DPD in data protection matters, and a minimum recognized training of 60 hours in relation to the subjects included in the program of the Scheme.
  • 3Itinerary 3

    Justify a professional experience of at least two years in projects and/or activities and tasks related to the functions of the DPD in data protection matters, and a minimum recognized training of 100 hours in relation to the subjects included in the program of the Scheme.
  • 4Itinerary 4

    Justify a minimum recognized training of 180 hours in relation to the subjects included in the program of the Scheme.
 

Documents

Training certificate

The Training Certificate will be issued by the Training Entity whose training program has been recognized by ANF AC Certification Entity of persons in the category of Protection Delegate (DPD), according to the AEPD-DPD scheme. The Certificate will be issued once the training has been completed and passed.

The Training Certificate will contain the requirements of the AEPD-DPD Scheme, such as; name of the recognized program, RU data, date of completion, duration, criteria and student data.


Detailed CV

The candidate must provide his/her Curriculum Vitae, which details the professional experience and training received that may be related to Data Protection or that he/she considers may be of professional interest.

Examination fees

The cost of the certification is 250 ¤ + VAT to be paid at the time of registration The registration fee entitles the candidate to sit for a second sitting in case he/she does not pass the first exam. There are 3 methods of payment.

If the Certification Body considers that the prerequisites have not been accredited, and the applicant has not provided the required information on time, he/she will not be admitted to the exam. In this case, the amount paid will be refunded minus the administrative, evaluation and reservation fee for the exam, whose total amount is 150 €. In case of being admitted to the exam, the candidate will not have to make any new payment.
