With the implementation of the EPREL system (European Product Registry for Energy Labeling), suppliers and manufacturers must register their products before placing them on the EU internal market. Since April 1, 2022, the database has been publicly accessible. Only products and models registered by verified suppliers are visible. This document must be sealed by the supplier with their own Qualified Electronic Seal Certificate, along with the European Commission’s electronic seal, which is already embedded before uploading it to the EPREL system.
Suppliers and manufacturers must have a Qualified Electronic Seal Certificate for EPREL to complete their registration and enrollment. In addition, they must upload the documents provided by EPREL during the registration process, which must be electronically signed in accordance with the specified requirements. These measures are designed to strengthen the integrity, authenticity, and reliability of the recorded information.

Who needs to register with EPREL?
All manufacturers or suppliers of the following products must register and complete product registration:

- Solid fuel boiler packages (including supplementary heaters, temperature controls, and solar devices)

- Water heater and solar device packages
- Solar devices
- Hot water storage tanks
- Space heaters / combination heaters
- Temperature controls
- Packages combining space heaters, temperature controls, and solar devices / combination heaters, temperature controls, and solar devices

Do I need a digital certificate for each product?
No. The entity only needs one EPREL Seal Certificate, which provides reliable identification on the platform. Once identified, you can register as many product records as you need
Who can apply for an EPREL Digital Certificate?
The company’s legal representative, or any member of the company with sufficient authority to request the certificate, may apply for it.
What process should the company follow once it has obtained the certificate?
The company must sign the documents provided by EPREL for registration. The signature must comply with the technical requirements specified by the platform. ANF AC’s EPREL Registration Pack includes access to an electronic signature platform with complimentary signatures, allowing the user to complete the registration quickly, easily, and conveniently.
How many signatures are included in the EPREL Pack's Electronic Signature Platform
Only one signature is required to complete the process. The EPREL Pack includes five signatures. If you need additional signatures, please consult your ANF AC Manager.
