a qualified certificate will be
required to communicate with the DGOJ
The Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego
requires the use of a certificate to:
Online bookmakers
Online casinos
Bingo platforms and
interactive games
Key requirement
All SOAP requests to the player verification service
must be electronically signed.
As of September 2025, self-signed certificates will no longer be accepted.
The certificate must be a qualified certificate issued by a Qualified Provider included in the EUTL.
The electronic signature guarantees authenticity, integrity and regulatory compliance.
