As of 5 July 2026, without a validly signed eCoC, your vehicle WILL NOT be able to be
registered or sold in any country of the European Union.
What is the eCoC and why does your company need it?
As of 5 July 2026, all new vehicles marketed in the European Union must have an electronic Certificate of Conformity (eCoC) in XML format, electronically signed and registered in the EUCARIS network.
Without a validated eCoC, your vehicle cannot be registered, type-approved, or legally sold in any EU country.
ANF AC, as a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP) under the eIDAS regulation (EU 910/2014), offers you the complete solution to comply with this obligation in an automatic, secure, and legally valid manner.
What does our eCoC solution include?
Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal)
Digital company certificate that acts as your official European seal. Issued in the name of your
organization with the highest legal guarantee.
XAdES Signature API
REST integration to apply qualified electronic signature (QES) to your eCoC XML files, complying with the XAdES standard required by regulations.
Support for batch signing
Allows you to sign thousands of eCoCs automatically and unattended, ideal for large production
volumes.
Qualified signature validation
Reports of legal validity admissible as expert evidence before courts and EU authorities.
How does it work?
The process step by step

Your company obtains your Qualified Electronic Seal (QSeal) issued by ANF AC.

Integrate our XAdES Signature API into your production management system or your
technology provider’s platform (e.g., eSign Global).

Generate the XML file for each vehicle according to the IVI standard.

The API automatically applies your qualified seal to the XML using XAdES format.

The signed eCoC is sent to a National Access Point (NAP) of your choice and distributed through
the EUCARIS network.

Registration authorities throughout the EU verify the signature and proceed with vehicle
registration without additional procedures.
