A few days ago I activated the signature device but, when trying
to use it, it indicates that the certificate is not created and
that I should try again in a few hours.

The system informs you that your request has not yet been activated. The Certification Authority, through the Issuance Reports Manager, has the obligation to verify the application and its documentation.

This procedure can have a certain delay, depending on the volume of requests that coincide at each moment. The maximum period of activation of a certificate is 48 hours.

When trying to sign an electronic document, the exportable certificate appears in red and I can not select it.

The device approved by ANF AC only allows to sign with recognized certificates, which are not exportable since, if they were, it would not be possible to determine the signature device used. The recognized electronic signature must be issued with a secure signature creation device.

The purpose of the exportable certificate is to use it with commercial software such as the Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers, which are instruments commonly used by the Public Administration.

How are the courses prepared by ANF AC?

To facilitate access to knowledge related to the use of certification and electronic signature, the courses have been developed in digital format and interactive format. In this way, each student can access the contents according to their time availability.

What is the methodology applied in the courses?

The courses combine the presentation of legal and functional concepts with animations that show how to use related products. For example, in the course of Certification and Electronic Signature, animations that allow to obtain the maximum performance of the benefits of Critical Access are included.

For the user's convenience, the courses are also available in the local installation mode. Once you have accessed the platform for the first time, you can download the course installer, in this way, you can access the contents without having an Internet connection.

Do the courses include the products and services they deal with?

Yes, the standard modality of the courses includes the linked products and services. In this way, the knowledge obtained is not limited only to the theoretical field but can be applied, in a real way, in the needs of the company.

Do the courses include evaluation and obtaining a certificate?

Yes. All the courses include in the content itself an interactive evaluation system that allows to demonstrate the understanding of the exposed concepts. For users who complete the integrated evaluation system, a certificate of professional accreditation is issued in the subject matter of the course.

How do I apply for a course?

If you do not have a recognized digital certificate issued by ANF AC, you must locate your nearest Official Office and arrange a visit to carry out the processing of the certificate on behalf of your company. During the process of processing the certificate, you can indicate the course you wish to take. The application will be reviewed by the Training Department of ANF AC and, unless there is an incident, you will be given access to the course indicating the applied bonus procedure.

What are the features of the Electronic Certificates?

They are digital documents that allow the identification of the certificate holder, the exchange of information in a secure manner, and the electronic signature of data, in such a way that its integrity and provenance can be verified.

An electronic certificate guarantees:

  • The authenticity of the people and entities that intervene in the exchange of information.
  • The confidentiality of the information exchanged between the sender and the receiver.
  • The integrity of the information, ensuring that no manipulation occurs.
  • The non-repudiation, which guarantees the certificate holder that nobody but him can generate a signature linked to his certificate and makes it impossible to deny his ownership in the messages he has signed.

ANF AC carries out all the necessary procedures to guarantee the accuracy of the data contained in any certificate before its activation, but does not store or copy the signature creation data of its users, nor does it have the opportunity to do so.

What is a Certification Authority?

Known by its acronym AC or CA (in English, Certification Authority) is a trusted entity, responsible for issuing and revoking the certificates used in the electronic signature, for which it uses a Public Key Infrastructure. Legally it is a particular case of Certification Services Provider.

What is a Time Stamping Authority?

The Timestamping or Time Stamp is an online mechanism that demonstrates that a series of electronic data has existed and has not been altered from a specific time. This protocol is described in RFC 3161 and is in the Internet standards registry.

A Timestamping Authority acts as a trusted third party, testifying the existence of said data at a specific date and time.

What is the History of the ANF Corporation?

It was born within the National Association of Manufacturers, a non-profit organization founded in 1981 and dedicated to the legal and institutional defense of its associates, among which are the first national and multinational companies of the agri-food sector. ANF ​​achieved an ample echo in the Spanish society, lending in several occasions its collaboration to the Congress of the Deputies in the development of a modern legislative frame in the scope of the distribution.

In 1997, ANF created the first ICT R + D + i laboratory and in the year 2000 the development of a complete technological platform with "electronic notary" level was concluded. In that same year ANF Autoridad de Certificación is constituted, and the competent authorities are officially notified to be in possession of the necessary technology to issue recognized electronic certificates, advanced electronic signatures, digital time stamps and online verification of the status of the certificate used.

ANF ​​AC is currently the first non-governmental Certification Authority of Spain, both for the level of official accreditations and for the volume of electronic certificates issued, and even for the number of electronic signatures generated. At the international level, ANF AC is assigned the private company code 18332 by the IANA organization (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority).

What is a Registration Authority? And the Official Office Accreditation?

Known by the acronym RA is an entity that, with the authorization of a Certification Authority, administratively manages the digital certificates requirement.

ANF AC accredits its Second Level Registration Authorities (lawyers, social graduates, managers and others attached to a professional association or association) as Official Offices of Public Administration.

What is the National Proximity Network?

It is the network formed by the multiple Official Offices of Public Administration, which administratively manage the requests for certificates.

This network assumes the commercialization, distribution and support of exclusive technological solutions that have the essential legal and fiscal security required by the current Information Society.

All Official Offices have been endowed with the knowledge and resources necessary to meet the most demanding needs in ICT services: electronic certificates for access to the Public Administration, recognized electronic certificates, signature and verification devices, telematic invoice, certified digitalization, and eBurofax, ePost and eCopyright services, among other utilities.

How can I obtain the Official Office Accreditation?

If you are assigned to a Professional Association or business association or belong to a trusted entity or corporation that needs to process electronic certificates for your users, you can request your accreditation through the corresponding form.

My entity does not appear on the Map of the RA Network.

How do I differentiate between a natural and legal person certificate?

Both from the "New" button on the initial screen of AR Manager, as well as from the "New" option in the main menu of the application, the dialog box to register a new certificate request is activated. In the upper part, you must choose the type of certificate that the applicant requires (natural or legal person).

What is the electronic invoice?

In practice, it is a tax document generated by computerized means in electronic format, which replaces the physical document, but which retains the same legal value, with security conditions not observed in the paper invoice. In computer terms, it consists of a file with the content required by law to any invoice, which can be transmitted by telematic means (from one computer to another) and which has characteristics that ensure its authenticity and integrity.

Can a foreign company request the approval of a digitization software?

Article 7 of Order EHA / 962/2007, which includes the aspects related to the certified digitization of paper invoices, specifies that the application for certification of certified scanning software can be made by companies resident in Spain or the European Union.

By what means can the telematic invoice be sent to the receiver?

Once obtained the file of the invoice with your signature can be sent to the recipient in different ways. As with formats, there is no single mode. It can be sent by email, FTP, hosted on a web page from which it can be downloaded, or through another online service.

What happens if you sign with an expired or revoked signatory certificate?

Invoices signed with expired, revoked or suspended certificates at the time of their issue will not be considered validly sent to their recipients or received by them. Therefore, the issuer's software must check the validity of the certificate before signing the invoice. Likewise, the recipient's software must ensure that the invoice has been signed with a certificate that has not expired or been revoked.

Can I convert my invoices in paper to electronic format?

The taxpayer can convert their invoices, substitute documents and any other documents that they retain on paper that have the character of originals, to digital format. To do this you must make use of a digitalization software that has been approved by the Tax Agency. The foregoing is set forth in Article 7 of Order EHA / 962/2007.

Differences between Legal Person Certificates?

• Legal Representative of Legal Entity. Examples: Mercantile Companies (Anonymous, Limited, ..), Economic Interest Groups (AIE), Public Administration and Public Sector, Associations, Foundations, Cooperatives, etc.

• Legal Representative of Entity without legal personality. Examples: UTE, Civil Societies, Communities of Property, Communities of Owners, etc.

• Legal Representative for Sole and Solidary Administrators. This type of certificate will be reserved for those cases in which it is intended to prove the status of sole or joint representative of the representative. This certificate may also be used for the same purposes as the legal representative's certificate of a legal entity, although it is obvious that only those who hold the position of Sole or Joint and Several Administrator may request it.
